Well, here’s some more interesting news about the lifestyle habits of the tech world’s rich and famous. Venture capitalist and weed investor Peter Thiel takes human growth hormones to build muscle mass.

In an interview with Bloomberg, the 47-year-old PayPal co-founder says that “he plans to live until he’s 120.”

To help him hit that benchmark, Thiel also follows the Paleo diet and doesn’t have any refined sugar, other than some red wine now and again. He’s also hopeful that we’ll find a cure for cancer within the next decade.

According to Bloomberg: “Thiel’s Founders Fund is investing in a number of biotechnology companies to extend human lifespans, including Stem CentRx Inc., which uses stem cell technology for cancer therapy and Modern Meadow Inc., which is aiming to grow leather and meat in labs. Thiel said, however, that ‘it’s not yet clear whether people will eat it.’ ”

The interview is to promote his book, Zero to One: Notes on Startups, or How to Build the Future, in which the PayPal co-founder and Facebook board member serves up his take on the tech world today, predicting that Google will outlast all the big tech companies.
