Will Hodgman, the entrepreneur who sold M:Metrics to comScore for $44 million six years ago, has a new gig.

And, as a result, Seattle is getting a new tech headquarters.

Hodgman today is formally being announced as CEO of Informate Mobile Intelligence, a Singapore-based company with technical operations in Mumbai, India. The company specializes in mobile measurement, including the tracking of content, advertising and in-app activity on smartphones and tablets.

At this juncture, Hodgman will be the only executive in Seattle. But he plans to grow the executive team in the coming year.

“We’re well-positioned for accelerated growth in 2015 but will need to add the right talent to get us there,” said Hodgman, who also previously served as CEO of KISSMetrics and AdRelevance. “There is no city in the world that has a deeper and more talented mobile workforce than Seattle and that’s going to be a key to our success moving forward.”

Founded in 2008, Informate is profitable and growing with 45 employees.

“Over the past six years we’ve built a profitable, high-growth business in Asia and are now in a position to aggressively go after the U.S. market and expand globally,” said Informate founder and president Kedar Sohoni in a release.  “Will has the industry experience, leadership and contacts that can help ensure our success.”
