siricortana121Apparently, Siri can’t hold a conversation and has gained a bit of weight.

That’s according to Microsoft’s new video advertisement lambasting Apple’s virtual assistant. The 30-second spot, which has garnered nearly 1.7 million views in three days, touts the advantages of Microsoft’s own virtual assistant, Cortana.

Here’s the conversation:

Cortana (from a Nokia Lumia 830): “Hi Siri, looks like you’re in a new phone. Congratulations.”

Siri (from an iPhone 6 Plus): “Yes, I got bigger.”

Cortana: “Oh, are you more like me now? Can you give reminders based on who calls or texts?”

Siri: “No, I got bigger.”

Cortana: “How about traffic alerts? Can you tell people to leave early based on traffic reports?

Siri: “No, seriously, I just got bigger.”

Cortana: “That’s OK — happens to everyone this time of the year.”

So, the message appears to be that although Apple has beefed up the iPhone screen size, its virtual assistant still can’t keep up with Microsoft’s.

This is yet another advertisement from Microsoft that calls out Apple. Here’s another one featuring the Surface Pro 3 that debuted last week and was airing throughout this weekend’s sporting events on TV:
