First conceived at a Startup Weekend event in Seattle three years ago by venture capitalist Greg Gottesman, Rover.com has grown fast in recent years, raising nearly $25 million in venture capital to date. Developers at the startup work with tools including Python/Django, HTML/CSS/JS (SCSS, jQuery, Backbone), Github AWS and Jenkins for CI.
And yes, of course, you can bring your dog to work.

Another recent GeekWire Awards winner, Buuteeq, is on the hunt for a front-end engineer and web developer to play a key role in developing its cloud-based digital marketing system for the hospitality industry. The company’s technologies are used by hotels to manage everything from website design and content management to online reservations and business intelligence.
Buuteeq won the “Perk of the Year” GeekWire Award for the $2,500 travel stipend that it gives employees every year, allowing them to travel to visit customers and experience the culture in the place where the company’s technologies are used.
