Between its cloud-based AvaTax suite of sales tax compliance software and becoming the first company in its industry to adopt Bitcoin, Avalara clearly places a high premium on cutting-edge technologies.

The tax automation company is looking to build on those values with the help of a new Senior Site Reliability Engineer. The candidate that fills this role will help build out the company’s cloud deployment platform for its next generation of tax products. Avalara is looking for someone with at least seven years of experience as a site reliability engineer to join its team.

Amazon is looking for someone with a passion for finding “the needle in the haystack of data” to join its Armor team. The e-commerce giant has an opening for an engineer to help set a vision for the Armor a year ahead, create architecture for new and existing services, write code, and find and trouble shoot problems in Amazon’s systems. Applicants should have two or more years of experience in software development and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Nutanix has an opening for an MTS developer for all back-end systems. Responsibilities in this role include designing software for a converged computing and storage platform, engaging with customers and support, and designing solutions for customer requirements.
