Seattle summers are unbeatable — and now that temperatures are rising what better way to geek out in the sun than with Star Trek in the park? This Friday, July 19, is the first installment of Hello Earth Productions’ “Mirror, Mirror” a live recreation of a classic 1967 Stark Trek episode in Dr. Blanche S. Lavizzo Park in Seattle.
On opening night, Six Coins Japanese Food truck will be serving food from 5:00pm until showtime. The production will also be preceded by live music from a local acoustic guitarist. More information about this free event can be found on Hello Earth Productions’ blog.

Startup Weekend, a global grassroots non-profit, is calling all entrepreneurs for three days of speakers, networking, and expert coaching. Anyone is welcome to pitch startup ideas and teams are formed organically throughout the weekend. The event will include meals and will culminate with feedback from a panel of judges Sunday evening.
