Microsoft’s Bing Pulse real-time audience survey tool is expanding to in-person live events with the help of Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton.

The Clinton Global Initiative America conference, taking place right now in Denver, Colo., will use the Microsoft tool to gauge audience sentiment in person and watching online during two sessions, on the topics of American competitiveness, and energy and national resources.

It’s part of Microsoft’s effort to broaden the Bing brand into all sorts of data-driven initiatives, not just as a pure web search engine. Bing Pulse was used previously on Fox to gauge audience reaction during the State of the Union, but this marks the expansion of the tool to in-person live events.

The first Clinton Global Initiative session starts today at noon Pacific time, and the second will be held on Wednesday morning. Online viewers can watch the event here and vote via Bing Pulse on this site.

The survey tool works via mobile devices, tablets and the web on desktop computers.
