Amazon announced Wednesday that it had reached a deal with Stephen Spielberg’s Amblin Television and CBS for the streaming rights to “Extant,” a new television show that revolves around a female astronaut, played by Halle Berry.

Much like last year’s “Under the Dome,” Amazon Prime customers will be able to stream episodes starting four days after they are originally broadcast. Amazon recently renewed its deal for Under the Dome, as well.

“We received very positive feedback from Prime members about this summer’s exclusive access to Under the Dome,” Brad Beale, Amazon’s Director of Content Acquisition for Digital Video said in a press release. “Customers loved being able to watch the show just days after it aired as well as catching up on previous episodes. We are thrilled to offer Prime members this access for Extant, another exciting new show from CBS.”

Landing Extant is a big deal for Amazon, which says that Under The Dome was the most-watched show on its video platform last year. The deal could be key to reminding prime users that they have a video platform at their fingertips, as well as drawing new users to Amazon’s subscription service.

The news comes after Morgan Stanley recently downgraded Netflix’s stock rating, in part because the company would be facing increasing pressure from competitors, including Amazon.
