Amazon announced today the Amazon Fire TV is now available for pre-order in the United Kingdom and Germany for a generous 40 percent off (49 pounds) The Fire TV, which was unveiled in the U.S. back in April for $99, will begin shipping on Oct. 23 and will go up to 79 pounds starting on Monday. As part of the announcement, Amazon said the Amazon Fire TV has become the best-selling streaming video box on Amazon.com in the U.S. since it launched, but as usual, it didn’t release more specific sales figures.
