A Z2Live mobile game developer was the victim of a homicide Tuesday morning in Bothell, Wash.

Detectives have not confirmed the identity of Susann Smith, but both neighbors and Z2Live say it was Smith who was found dead inside her home on Tuesday.

Employees at Z2Live became concerned when Smith, a mother of two, wasn’t coming to work this week. Tuesday morning, they called police, who informed them of the death.

CEO Lou Fasulo issued this statement:

“The Z2Live family is extremely saddened and equally heartbroken by the news of the loss of our friend and co-worker, Susann Smith. Susann was an employee of Z2Live for a little over a year, and during her time here brought endless energy, smiles and a creative spirit to her work and the office. As she was a passionate and dedicated employee, when Susann didn’t arrive to work this week we became alarmed and after repeated calls to her went unanswered, we phoned the Bothell authorities who at that time informed us of her death. We’ll miss her dearly and our prayers are with her family and friends during this most difficult time.”
