We’re looking forward to seeing more than 700 of you for the GeekWire Summit, the Pacific Northwest’s premier technology conference, taking place Thursday Sept. 12 in downtown Seattle. If you’re attending, here’s what you need to know.

Time: Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, followed by welcome and introduction at 9:20 a.m., leading directly into our first session. The day will conclude with a reception at the Sheraton Seattle, followed by the official after-party at the nearby Rainier Square Roof Park. (Details below).

Agenda: We’ve lined up a full day of great content, featuring technology leaders from across the industry, including top venture capitalist Bill Gurley, HBO CTO Otto Berkes, Microsoft Halo GM Bonnie Ross, and many more, plus a few surprises. Check out the full schedule and read more about the speakers.

Food & Drink: No need to search for your own meal — we’ve got you covered. Light breakfast will be served in the morning, sponsored by First Tech Credit Union, and lunch will be available to all attendees, sponsored by Filter. We’ve also sprinkled coffee breaks throughout the day.

Pre-Party: The GeekWire Summit activities actually begin the night before the event, at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 11, with a pre-Summit networking reception at Zillow’s headquarters in downtown Seattle, 1301 Second Avenue, Floor 31, open to all GeekWire Summit attendees who RSVP’d during the registration process. It’s a great chance to connect with fellow attendees and also some of our speakers in advance of the Summit, with complimentary food and drink.

After-Party: Sponsored by Avalara, the GeekWire Summit after-party will start at 6 p.m. at the Rooftop Deck at Rainier Square Roof Park (1333 5th Ave) across from Fifth Avenue Theater. Follow the exterior steps up past the Rock Bottom Brewery to enter the patio area. Open to all GeekWire Summit attendees.

Twitter: We’ll be using the hashtag #gwsummit for the event, and also monitoring the Twitter stream for questions from attendees during the event.

Parking: Paid parking is available at the Sheraton, as well as garages in the vicinity. Options include the Washington Convention & Trade Center Garage (located on 8th Avenue between Pike Street and Seneca Street) and Washington Athletic Club Garage. (Located on 6th Avenue between Union and Pike Street.
