The collapse happens at the 39-second mark. In what’s being called a miracle, no fatalities were reported. Three people were rescued from the Skagit River in Mount Vernon.

Late Thursday, it was interesting to see how fast Google had updated its map to show the collapse of the 58-year-old bridge that averages 71,000 vehicles per day.

Earlier today, we spoke with Kirkland-based INRIX to find out how they put an operations team in place to update its traffic navigation apps and services. Washington Governor Jay Inslee is estimating repair costs at $15 million.

Mount Vernon is located about 60 miles north of Seattle. I-5 is the main north-to-south artery in the state, connecting Vancouver, B.C. to Seattle. If you’re driving on I-5 this weekend, here’s how you can get around the collapsed bridge.

UPDATE, 3:30 P.M.
