Portland-based Brandlive, a video social commerce platform designed to help make the retailer-customer relationship more personal, today announced a completion of a $1.6 million Series A round led by the Oregon Angel Fund.

Brandlive, formerly known as Your Brandlive, connects online retailers with online shoppers through live video chat, allowing just one sales person to communicate with hundreds of customers at once.

The startup, which cleaned house at the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network’s Angel Oregon 2013, has partnerships with companies like GoPro, Adidas, Nordica, Levi Strauss and Marmot.
