If you’re tired of moving your thumbs around after hours of gaming on the Xbox but still need your fix, the newly-released Twitch app may be the answer.
Debuting today for Xbox Live Gold members, one of the “most-asked for apps” has arrived to Microsoft’s console. Every month, more than 34 million people watch nearly 800,000 gamers play titles like Starcraft, League of Legends and Dota 2 on Twitch.tv, and now you can watch the top 300 live Twitch channels from your Xbox.
We’re only one week away from Microsoft’s big unveiling for the next-generation Xbox on the the company’s Redmond campus, where Microsoft is building a huge tent in preparation for the event. Twitch will be holding a live special broadcast with Microsoft’s Larry Hryb (Major Nelson) following the event next Tuesday.
