Dan Crowdus, a.k.a. The Icarus Kid, at the show this week.

Updated below with answer and winner.

This week’s Name that Tech Tune challenge is on the tougher end of the spectrum, hand-picked by Nintendo remix musician The Icarus Kid for the on-stage taping of our GeekWire radio show this week. Given that, it probably goes without saying that it’s a Nintendo tune. However, it’s definitely not one of the games that would first pop to mind when you think about Nintendo.

Up for grabs this week is a prize package from two of our event sponsors: A copy of Windows 8 Pro and credits for 3 GB of SkyDrive storage from Microsoft Outlook.com; and a week’s worth of free delivery from Postmate’s Get it Now service. From the pool of correct answers, we’ll pick one person at random to win the whole package.

Are you ready? Here’s the tune.

If you think you know the correct answer, send it to contest@geekwire.com.

Name that Tech Tune is a regular feature of the GeekWire radio show and podcast, which airs on 97.3 KIRO-FM in Seattle at 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. every Saturday. The show runs every weekend on GeekWire.com. You can get every episode using this RSS feed, or by subscribing in iTunes or Zune. Also search for the show on Stitcher.

And if you’re stumped, we gave some serious clues during the broadcast of this segment this week. Listen to the audio here.

Once again, if you think you know the answer, send it to contest@geekwire.com. We’ll give the answer and announce the winner next week.

Update, April 18: The answer: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (for NES). Congrats to our winner, David Kuntz.
