It’s time to pull up a chair and sit around the dinner table with a bunch of smart people for some great conversation and a juicy slice of the future.

tastefutureThat’s the premise of “Taste of the Future,” a new television and web video series that GeekWire has been helping to develop as part of a team that also includes KING 5, Studio 216, and Jenni Hogan Media.

Check out a sneak preview of the pilot episode above, featuring a roundtable discussion about the future of augmented reality and wearable technologies. At the table with Jenni Hogan and me are Zachary Cohn of LIFFFT, a Google Glass user; Randy Sprague, CEO of augmented-reality startup Innovega; and wearable technology and product designer Jennifer Darmour of Artefact.

It was a great conversation, and if you want more, just go to the Taste of the Future show site and enter your email address to receive updates.

We’re currently exploring a variety of ways to bring “Taste of the Future” to life as a regular series on the web and television, and by signing up for updates you’ll also be showing your support and helping us move the project forward.

Thanks for tuning in, and let us know what you think!
