vizcards1Whether looking for a job or a spouse, it’s more important than ever to be able to differentiate yourself and easily express what’s important to you. But, sometimes, words just can’t do the trick. And for those times, Portland startup Vizify thinks it has the solution. Their latest offering is something they are calling Vizcards — described as “bite-sized infographics about you.”

vizcard11The new mini content offerings can be published to a Vizify profile or shared via other social media channels.

“The lines between your professional and personal identity online are blurring. Our research with hiring managers told us that their biggest pain point was finding a cultural fit — they want to know the person beyond your resume,” said Vizify co-founder Todd Silverstein. “Our Vizcard prompts are designed to address that. They showcase your achievements, but also your interests, and quirks.”

For example, users can visually showcase how many cups of coffee they drink each day or an entrepreneurial idea that they’ve come up with.

Silverstein said that graphics and prompts are designed to allow individuals to effortlessly share things that are important to them. Additional Vizcards developed for current events and pop culture will be added soon.

This is a fun little app, but I don’t like that I have to give you access to my account information to post my little creation on FB or Twitter. And here I was about to give you a shout out! Cool, though. I like it.
