Seattle_SeahawksLife is back to normal today for the millions of pro football fans around the country, as the NFL season gets underway this Sunday morning.

In Seattle, expectations for the hometown team are at an all-time high — anything less than a Super Bowl victory is going to be a disappointment.

So yes, Seahawks fervor is alive and well in the Emerald City. The 2013-14 campaign kicks off today with a 10 a.m. home game at Carolina on FOX. The home-opener is next Sunday, when the Hawks welcome rival San Francisco as the 12th man tries to break the Guinness World Record for crowd noise.

I’ve put together some resources to follow the team this year for you below, from Twitter accounts to mobile apps.

Twitter

Here’s a solid list on Twitter you can subscribe to that includes reporters and Seahawks players. Individual accounts are listed below. You can also check out the #12thMan or #GoHawks hashtags to see what people are chatting about.

Another cool way to follow the game is via the Seahawks SportStream, which provides real-time stats, social media streams, chats and access to relevant content all in an easy-to-navigate page.

Mobile

There are lots of apps out there to help you track stats and follow the action from your mobile device:
