Life is back to normal today for the millions of pro football fans around the country, as the NFL season gets underway this Sunday morning.
In Seattle, expectations for the hometown team are at an all-time high — anything less than a Super Bowl victory is going to be a disappointment.
So yes, Seahawks fervor is alive and well in the Emerald City. The 2013-14 campaign kicks off today with a 10 a.m. home game at Carolina on FOX. The home-opener is next Sunday, when the Hawks welcome rival San Francisco as the 12th man tries to break the Guinness World Record for crowd noise.
