March Madness starts Wednesday — at least our version of it.

That’s right folks. It’s time for one of the most-anticipated events of the year — GeekWire’s annual ping pong and foosball tournament, taking place at the Showbox SODO south of Safeco Filed on Wednesday. We’re celebrating our 2nd anniversary with some of our favorite geek sports, and today we’re announcing the brackets for the tournaments. Get ready to rumble, folks. This is gonna be fun.

While the slots for the official tournaments are now filled, you can still purchase tickets for the Anniversary bash. After all, this is a party first and foremost. With more than 600 people coming out, it is one bash you will not want to miss. Cheer on your co-workers, hang out with good friends or participate in one of the many other activities we’ve got on the agenda, from the WhitePages’ hidden ping pong ball hunt to the SideCar photo booth to Tableau’s beer pong.

But enough of my yapping. Here are the brackets for the tournaments, including some very intriguing first-round matchups. We’ve got more than 100 competitors in the running for some awesome prizes, so make sure to check out this FAQ if you’re participating. (Remember: Doors open at 3:30 p.m., with player check-in required at 4 p.m.) Best of luck.

(Note: Post updated on March 6 with latest versions of brackets.)
