The Street announced the results of its Top Tech CEO competition today, and two of the top three are from the Seattle region.

Marc Benioff, the iconoclastic head of Salesforce.com, took first place, with a commanding 54 percent of the vote. Benioff’s reputation as someone who will say what he’s thinking during an interview (no matter what that might be) probably contributed to the win.

While Silicon Valley-based Benioff took the top spot, the two runner-ups have Seattle roots. Coming in at a solid second place with 30 percent of the vote was Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff, who has helped guide the real estate company to massive revenue gains, and even hosted President Barack Obama for a chat about America’s housing market.

Rascoff, who took seats on the boards of Zulily and TripAdvisor earlier this year, reportedly garnered the most employee support in The Street’s comment section, with postings like “Spencer is by far the hardest working employee at Zillow and it shows.”

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos took a distant third place, garnering 8 percent of the vote. It’s possible that Brad Stone’s book about the company, a not-entirely-flattering portrait which has been hotly contested by Amazon, may have influenced public opinion. Maybe next year, his newly-announced drone army will be able to log on and vote for him.
