Screen Shot 2013-11-13 at 9.21.02 AMLivingSocial, the Amazon-backed daily deals company, has been unreachable from both its mobile app and its website for the past 22 hours, and right now, it doesn’t seem like anyone knows when it will be coming back up.

According to AllThingsD, a Twitter complaint pegs the start of the outage at 11:45 a.m. yesterday, and the company hasn’t yet given an estimate for when they expect the site to be back up. LivingSocial said that the outage was the result of an “internal issue” in a blog post about the outage today. The company went on to say that it also didn’t see any signs of a security breach, which is important, given their loss of 50 million users’ names, birthdates, emails and encrypted passwords earlier this year.

In its post today, the company said that it has isolated the problem and is working on a fix. That’s also the same thing they said yesterday, so it’s unclear how much progress the team at LivingSocial has made in the intervening hours.

If you need to get in touch with LivingSocial, the company suggests that customers call its customer support department at 877-521-4191, and merchants get in touch by calling 877-556-4078.

We’ve attempted to contact the company’s press folks via email, but those emails bounced.

LivingSocial has been burning cash, and last year it cut 400 staffers. Amazon invested $175 million in the company in 2012, but it took a $169 million write down on its investment last year after the company hit roadblocks.
