kindlefirehdxAmazon’s biggest Kindle is coming to AT&T stores later this week on April 5 and buyers can get $150 off the 4G 32GB LTE version (normally $399) with an optional two-year data plan contract.

A $249 price tag is the lowest we’ve seen for the 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD with 4G. This announcement comes a few weeks after Amazon lowered the price of its 4G tablet to $399, a $100 discount from its original price.

AT&T is the first carrier to offer the Kindle on its 4G LTE network. AT&T data plans run at a minimum of $14.99 per month, or you can add the tablet to an existing Mobile Share plan for $10 per month. An additional $50 activation credit is available for customers who purchase their device at AT&T retail stores.

You can also purchase the tablet directly through Amazon and get a 12-month AT&T data package (250MB/month) for a one-time payment of $50.
