MASTER-buuteeq-logo-FINALBuuteeq, an online marketing platform and content management system which powers the Web sites of more than 4,000 independent hotels across the globe, just inked a deal with Choice Hotels in what could be the company’s biggest deal yet.

The fast-growing Seattle startup, which is a finalist for the GeekWire Awards Startup of the Year, has become the exclusive vendor for Choice Hotels, a leading franchisor of hotels like Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites and Sleep Inn.

Buuteeq custom-designed a new reservation platform called Digital Direct Program for more than 5,000 Choice brand hotels. The Digital Direct subscription tiers range from franchises that are trying to build an online presence to hotels needing an extra boost to an already established website.

Buuteeq, which is led by Forest Key, Adam Brownstein, Cameron Steele and Brian Saab, landed $10 million in cash last fall from Concur and Madrona.

(Editor’s note: GeekWire subleases office space from Buuteeq).
