The GeekWire Summit — our biggest event of the year and the premier tech conference in the Pacific Northwest — is less than a month away. Do you have your tickets yet?
You should, as we continue to add world-class speakers and activities to the lineup for the September 12th event. First, we’re happy to announce that the festivities will get started a little early this year, with Zillow co-hosting a pre-event happy hour at their awesome downtown Seattle headquarters on the evening of September 11th. A GeekWire Summit ticket provides automatic entry to this one-of-a-kind networking event, featuring Summit speakers and other VIPs.
Even more exciting, we continue to add new speakers to the lineup. In fact, today we’ve added an asteroid miner and an entrepreneur who is partnering with Bill Gates to change the way we communicate.
Eric Anderson — the CEO of Intentional Software and co-founder of asteroid mining startup Planetary Resources — and Vern Fotheringham — a technology veteran leading Bill Gates-backed broadband wireless upstart Kymeta — will be sharing insights on the future of the tech industry on our innovation panel. They join software veteran Jeremy Jaech, the CEO of home sensor startup SNUPI Technologies, on the panel.
Our lineup also includes top Silicon Valley venture capitalist (and early Twitter investor) Bill Gurley, Microsoft Halo leader Bonnie Ross, Zillow co-founder Rich Barton, acclaimed photographer and CreativeLive co-founder Chase Jarvis, HBO technology chief Otto Berkes and many others.
As you can imagine, we’re getting excited for the Summit. We hope that you can join us. More details and tickets here, and stay tuned for more speaker announcements in the coming weeks. .
Thanks for your support of GeekWire, and see you on Sept. 12!
