Get excited, people: Gabe Newell and J.J. Abrams have plans to work together both on a movie and game.

The pair just revealed on stage at the DICE 2013 Summit that there are certainly plans in the works. Newell, the Valve co-founder, said that he wants to do a ‘Half-Life’ or ‘Portal’ movie with Abrams, who is directing the new Star Wars and Star Trek movies. Meanwhile, Abrams said that there’s a game he wants to work with Valve on.

Polygon caught up with Abrams, who said that “Both a Portal and Half-Life movie are things I want to see.”
