Giving gifts on Facebook has always been a virtual tool, but now the social media giant is unveiling physical, reusable Facebook gift cards that you can give to anyone and use at several retail stores.

Users can choose a gift from Facebook’s Gift Cards & Digital category, assign a value and have the card sent to a friend in the mail. The card can hold multiple gift balances from different stores — for example, you could have $100 at Olive Garden and $25 at Jamba Juice all on the same gift card.

You can check your balance via the Facebook mobile or desktop app. It’s very much like a prepaid credit card.

Initial retailers include Olive Garden, Target, Sephora and Jamba Juice.

This is another foray into the gift-giving world, as Facebook debuted its “Gifts” feature last year.

Facebook Gift Cards will gradually roll out to people in the U.S.
