Comcast and Twitter announced a big partnership this morning, which will allow Xfinity TV subscribers to immediately access content from their set-top box, smartphone or tablet with a new feature called “See It” on selected tweets.

For example, see the tweet to the right from Suits. By simply pushing “See It,” Xfinity customers will be able to watch the show right away or set the DVR to record. The feature will be available for a selected number of Comcast-owned NBCUniversal shows this November.

“By partnering with Comcast, we’ll be able to make it easier than ever to turn on the show everyone is talking about and jump into the conversation,” Twitter wrote in a blog post today.

The new deal could potentially turn Twitter into a TV-watching service and is just another example of Twitter proving its worth to the TV industry.
