Jason Finger, who was appointed CEO of IAC’s CityGrid Media 14 months ago, has left the company to “pursue other opportunities,” says a spokeswoman for IAC.

Finger, the former CEO of Seamless Web, left the company earlier this week. He has been replaced by Ron LaPierre, who is serving as CEO

CityGrid may not be a household name, but some of its properties are. They include Citysearch, as well as two properties born in Seattle: Urbanspoon and Buzz Labs.

We’ve also heard that Urbanspoon, the restaurant recommendation app and Web site which IAC acquired in 2009, has been considering selling its Rezbook online dinner reservation service.

At the time of his appointment last year, Finger noted the opportunities in front of the company.

“CityGrid Media’s network of properties offer unique opportunities to capture and grow value in the local market,” he said in a release.

As reported last fall, CityGrid underwent a layoff, though no staffers at Urbanspoon were impacted (which at the time employed 100 people).
