walkscoretrafficWalk Score already told you about commute times, but the Seattle startup just added a new feature that takes traffic into account during rush hour commute.

Based on data from traffic information providers, Walk Score now shows travel times that calculates traffic congestion for the 20,000 sites using Walk Score’s Neighborhood Map.

Walk Score — best known for placing a walkability rating of 1 to 100 on homes and businesses — introduced crime maps in three cities earlier this month that tells users whether they’ll get mugged, robbed or tagged in certain areas.

Founded by All Star Directories creator Mike Mathieu, the company secured $2 million last year from former Amazon.com CTO Shel Kaphan, former Facebook general counsel Rudy Gadre, entrepreneur Edward Yim, angel investor Geoff Entress and others.
