GoDaddy CEO Blake Irving chats with John Cook and Todd Bishop at the GeekWire Summit.

Autumn is officially here. How do we know? Well, of course there’s the rain. But, as GeekWire Chief Business Officer Daniel Rossi pointed out earlier today, I’m also no longer wearing my Chaco sandals around the office.

That’s right. With the rains, the open-toe shoe season is sadly over.

But before we officially move on, let’s take a quick look back at September. It was a big month for GeekWire — the biggest in fact. Not only did we welcome Daniel Rossi to the team, but our traffic swelled to record levels and we welcomed more than 750 of you to the big GeekWire Summit.

Of course, as a startup, we’re not sitting still. And we’ve got some big things in store for October. (Namely our Startup Day conference on Oct. 25th, featuring speakers like Glenn Kelman of Redfin; Dave Cotter of SquareHub, Boris Wertz of Version One Ventures, Gov. Jay Inslee and more).

But that’s getting a bit ahead of things. This post is about looking back. In case you missed any of the action, here’s a look at the top stories for the month of September.
