That means that the Seattle game maker, founded by former RealNetworks employee Paul Thelen in 2002, now offers its cloud gaming service across four screens: PC, tablet, smartphone and TV. A little less than a year after its debut, Big Fish Instant Games offers a catalog of more than 200 cloud-based games.

“Now you can start a Big Fish game on your TV at home, and pick it up later on the go on your smartphone without having to wait for the game to download,” Jina Heverley, Big Fish VP and GM of PC, Mac and Cloud, said in a press release.

bigfishlogo-main1Big Fish currently sits atop the GeekWire 200 list, our ranking of the top privately-held companies in the region. The company announced in March that it had distributed more than two billion casual games to PCs and mobile devices since it was started. Even more impressive, the company posted $220 million in bookings last year, the 10th consecutive record year.

In April, Big Fish said that its multiplayer casino game “Big Fish Casino” was the top-grossing iOS app among all casino games worldwide while also tripling revenue in the past year.

In 2011, the company reported sales of $180 million, with the business growing at a 30 percent clip. Big Fish says that its games are downloaded more than one million times per day, and that nearly every one of its 3,000 PC and Mac games made money last year.
