GeekWire’s John Cook with See Sing Lau of WhitePages, intermediate champion, at the 2012 Ping Pong bash.

Are you a ping-pong wizard? Do you run your company’s table, and routinely skunk your co-workers? This is your chance to show off your skills in front of hundreds of members of the Seattle region’s tech community, and compete for some great prizes. There’s a spot waiting for you in the expert ping-pong bracket at the GeekWire Ping-Pong & Anniversary Bash, coming up the afternoon and evening of March 6 at the Showbox Sodo in Seattle.

But time is running out — the deadline is this Wednesday, Feb. 27, to register for the ping-pong and foosball tourneys that serve as the centerpiece of this annual event. The intermediate ping-pong bracket and the foosball tournament are almost full, and we’re on the hunt for more expert players to complete the field.

Register here or below. We’re encouraging tech companies from around the region to send their best players to compete for a piece of the glory.

Among the slate of prizes, winners of the ping pong and foosball tournaments this year will get access to the Anheuser-Busch suite at an upcoming Sounders match, courtesy of one of our sponsors, Budweiser.

The tournament registration fee also includes full access to the event. More details on ping-pong and foosball tournament are available in this FAQ.

Don’t forget: The event is a party, first and foremost, and hundreds of attendees have already signed up for the great food, drink, networking and other activities we’ll have throughout the afternoon and evening. We’ve got a lot of other great prizes and activities in store, including the Spirit Prize for the company that most proudly flies their geek colors during the event. The very popular beer pong table and photo booth also will be making a return.

A big thanks to our sponsorsFilterBudweiserFresh ConsultingTableau Software, VertaforeKnoll, WhitePagesFirst Tech Federal Credit UnionOutlook.comBarokas PRSEOmoz, and Sidecar for helping to make this event possible. (Thanks also to the team at 47Degrees for supplying the foosball tables this year.)
