2013-bts-lp-books-heroSummer has barely started. But, like clockwork, Apple has announced its Back-to-School program for this year.

People who qualify for Apple’s Education Store can get an iTunes gift card along with their purchase of some new qualifying Mac hardware.

Cupertino has offered gift cards for Macs and iPads in the past, but this year, students can also get a $50 gift card with the purchase of an iPhone. Mac purchasers will get $100, and iPad purchasers will get $50.

Unlike Microsoft, which is trying to get students to crowdfund their PC purchases, Apple is offering the same Mac education discounts it does year-round.

The promotion will run until September 6, and then it’ll vanish for another year.
