Konstantin Guericke

WhitePages has been around the startup block a few times, and now the 16-year-old Seattle company is injecting a bit of new blood. The company today is announcing that it has added Seattle angel investor Geoff Entress, an investor in about 50 startups in the region, and LinkedIn co-founder Konstantin Guericke to the board.

“We’ve excelled at finding compelling ways to present our data to end users whether it’s through helping people connect with other people, their local business or even to identify who is calling them,” said WhitePages CEO Alex Algard in a press release. “As the people data revolution continues to evolve, both Konstantin and Geoff have the experience and skill set to help us continue to lead the market as we develop new avenues to engage consumers and businesses.”

Guericke is a venture partner at Earlybird Venture Capital, and previously served as CEO of communications startup Jaxtr.

Enress has bankrolled more than 50 startups, many of them in the Seattle area. He also sits on the board of Big Fish, the Seattle game maker.
