As rumors around a potential Amazon Fresh rollout in San Francisco reach a fever pitch, Brad Stone, the author of “The Everything Store,” spotted one of the green delivery trucks himself, though it’s not one of Amazon’s garden variety models.

What’s particularly interesting about this truck is that it’s being used to advertise Betas, Amazon’s new sitcom about a group of entrepreneurs trying to strike it rich with the next big social network. This seems to be the first time Amazon has used one of its delivery trucks for advertising space, though it makes sense, especially since San Franciscans seem like a perfect target audience for a sitcom that lampoons the tech industry.

It would also appear to be yet another sign that the company is preparing for an imminent rollout of Amazon Fresh. A rumor surfaced last week saying that Amazon is going to start delivering groceries to San Francisco tomorrow, and earlier this year, the company started hiring for an Amazon Fresh position at a Bay Area warehouse.
