Startups are a critical component of the Seattle region’s tech industry, and a big part of GeekWire’s mission is to empower these entrepreneurs by connecting them to information, partners and other key resources across the community.

In that spirit, today we’re delighted to announce another addition to the GeekWire family: the Startup Resource Center.

Since acquiring Seattle 2.0 in December, we’ve been integrating elements of this beloved site into the fabric of GeekWire. From the job board to the community page, the Startup Awards and now the Startup Resource Center, we’re welcoming Seattle 2.0 content to its new home here, with a special GeekWire twist.

Our goal with the Startup Resource Center is to provide one-stop shopping for technology entrepreneurs launching and building their businesses.

Seeking startup advice? The Startup Resource Center features our most recent articles with tips from folks who have been there and done that. Looking for professional partners? Check out the community’s service providers across 33 categories, from angel investing and business networking to venture capital and web hosting.

Don’t see your own service listed?  Sign up here and select your business category for your free listing, or amp up your exposure through expanded or featured listings for a full year.

This resource center is brought to you by the community, for the community. If you’re an experienced entrepreneur willing to share tips from your playbook, submit your guest post to news@geekwire.com for consideration.

As always, keep the feedback coming and stay tuned to GeekWire as the Seattle 2.0 migration continues, with the return of the Startup Index, Startup Day (mark your calendars for 9/22 at Bellevue’s Meydenbauer Center), and much more.

A big thanks to the team at Fresh Consulting for their work on the Startup Resource Center. Contact me at rebecca@geekwire.com for more information on any of these events and initiatives.
