Seeing your face on a sports video game cover is a dream come true and a mark of accomplishment for some athletes.
Those dreams turned into reality for the Washington football senior captains.
Thanks to a cool effort by the Washington Athletics new media team, each senior captain received custom-made copies of EA Sports NCAA Football ’13 with their own images on the cover and packaging.
The players had their photos taken during a “cover shoot” and those pictures were used on copies of the game cover and disc.
You can download each personalized cover later this week. Maybe EA SPORTS should create a platform to allow anyone to get their face on game covers like this.
The Huskies will play Boise State on Dec. 22 at the Las Vegas Bowl.
