Cheezburger’s former chief revenue officer is moving on. Todd Sawicki tells GeekWire that he’s left the Seattle-based online comedy network, a move that comes just a month after he transitioned to a new role at the company.

“I like the 2 people to 100 person ride — 100 to infinity is very different,” Sawicki tells us. He plans to remain as an adviser to the company, but is currently kicking around his next thing.

Dubbing himself a “startup guy,” Sawicki said that he has a few ideas on his next move but is being “mellow” until the end of the year.

Sawicki had served as the company’s chief revenue officer for the past three years, but that role shifted last month when Cheezburger hired former AllRecipes.com executive Amber Dunn. At the time, Sawicki transitioned to the role of Vice President of Audience.

The timing of Sawicki’s departure also is interesting given that Cheezburger is launching a new TV show on Bravo called LOLWork next month in which Sawicki plays a role.

Sawicki tells us that the TV show was finished months ago, so that wasn’t a factor.

The decision to leave was mutual, and Sawicki said that he remains a huge advocate for the Cheezburger business and will keep a “finger in the pot.” The humor network, which includes sites like Fail Blog, The Daily What and Memebase, raised $30 million last year from Madrona Venture Group, Foundry Group and others.

In a response to GeekWire, Cheezburger offered this statement:

Todd successfully helped Cheezburger become one of the largest humor destinations on the Internet and we’re glad that he was part of our growing team. In regards to LOLwork, this will not affect the show and we’re looking forward to the premiere on November 7th.
