Updated below with answer and winner.

We’re continuing the space theme with this week’s installment in our Name that Tech Tune contest, but with a different twist. Be careful, because this one might be harder than it seems.

Up for grabs this week is a pair of tickets to the GeekWire Summer Bash, coming up June 21 at the Showbox Sodo in Seattle. (More details to come next week on this big event.) From the pool of correct answers, we’ll pick one person at random to win the tickets.

Here’s the song. If you can name the singer, send your answer to contest@geekwire.com.

Name that Tech Tune is a regular feature of the GeekWire show, airing at 7 a.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday on 97.3 KIRO-FM in Seattle, and weekends on GeekWire.com.

We chose the song in honor of our guest on this week’s show, Adam Bruckner, a professor of aeronautics and astronautics at the University of Washington.

For more context, here’s the full Name that Tech Tune segment from this week’s show. As you’ll hear during the show, John thought he got it right, but as we were talking after the show, we realized that he actually was wrong. So it isn’t as easy as it might sound.

Send your submission to contest@geekwire.com.

By the way, the answer to last week’s challenge  was Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.

Watch or listen for the new answer next week, and thanks for playing!

Update, May 11: I hate to have to break it to you, but many of you got this wrong. The answer was not Kermit the Frog. It was Ernie. Congrats to our winner, Stephen H. (Stephen, check your email for a message from me.)
