[Updated below with answer and winner]

We’re challenging you to identify an especially obscure Tech Tune this week, but the prize is worth the mental energy.

Up for grabs is one ticket to join hundreds of your fellow geeks at ToorCamp 2012, the “American Hacker Camp,” taking place August 8-12 over on the Washington coast.

From the pool of correct answers, we’ll pick one person at random to win the ticket. The challenge is to name the mobile platform associated with this particular ringtone.

If you know the answer, send it to contest@geekwire.com.

Name that Tech Tune is a regular feature of the GeekWire radio show and podcast, airing at 7 a.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday on 97.3 KIRO-FM in Seattle, and running weekends on GeekWire.com.

If you’re stumped, we give a couple clues during the Name that Tech Tune segment on this week’s show. (Our guest on the show is David Hulton, one of the organizers of the camp.) For more context, here’s the full Tech Tune segment.

Send your entry to contest@geekwire.com for your chance to win the prize. Look or listen for the answer next week, and thanks for playing!

Update, July 7: The answer was BlackBerry. The tune is a ringtone called “BBGrooves Interlude,” which has inspired more than a few hip-hop remixes (see below for an example).

Apparently this was way too hard, because very few people got it right. Congrats to our winner, Amal Graafstra, who will be going to ToorCamp. Tune in next week for another installment.
