Just in case you aren’t sharing enough of your lives with your friends already, Facebook last night announced a series of new apps that integrate with Facebook Timeline, from a variety of online services. The idea is to make it easier to share activities and interests with friends using the apps in conjunction with Facebook’s new profile pages and right-hand ticker.

One example: Seattle-based Urbanspoon, maker of popular mobile restaurant apps, will be integrating its Dineline feature with Facebook Timeline. As explained in a news release, the feature  “allows people to track restaurants they visited as well as what meal they had at that eatery, upload photos and share memorable meals on their Facebook Timelines.”

The Dineline feature is available through an update to Urbanspoon’s iPhone app, available here. Urbanspoon is part of CityGrid Media, an IAC Interactive company.

Additional apps for Facebook timeline are available here.

Thanks to Steven Johnson for pointing this out.

As VentureBeat explains, the initiative is part of Facebook’s shift toward  “actions,” not just “likes.”
