360 Panorama for iPhone and iPad, makes it easy to capture and share full panoramic pictures from your device. 99 cents.
Dark Sky for iPhone, a hyperlocal, real-time weather app that predicts weather in your neighborhood over the next hour. $3.99.
Sun Seeker solar path viewer for iPhone and Android, augmented reality app to project the path of the sun across a specific property at different times of the year. $8.99 for iPhone and $5.99 for Android. Free version with limited features.
WhitePages for iPhone and Android, tons of features for looking up people and businesses; we use it in part to figure out our neighbors’ names. Free app.
WalkScore for iPhone, gives a walkability score for specific locations based on the amenities and services within walking distance.

Bamboo Paper notebook app for the iPad, free but works best with a stylus that costs $30. (Thanks, Cody.)
Fitocracy, social network for getting in shape and working out. “Slick UI, easy navigation, creates a feeling of community around fitness,” says our Facebook follower Kelly, who suggested this one. Free app.
Kouply for iPhone and Windows Phone, turns your relationship into a game, lets you award points to your significant other and compete with other couples if you want. Free app.
Vyclone for iPhone, automatically combines videos from different users into one video of the same scene. Free app.
Downcast podcast listening app for iPhone, $1.99.
