Seattle has become one of the annual stops for tech reviews and recommendations site gdgt, and for me at least, the gdgt live event on Thursday night was the best yet.

I had lots of good conversations, met new people from the tech community, saw technologies I hadn’t seen before, and found out about a very interesting (and profitable) Seattle startup that has been flying under the radar. (More on that in this follow-up post.)

GeekWire was happy to be a media partner for the gdgt live Seattle event again this year. We’re fans of the site, which was started by veteran tech writers and entrepreneurs Ryan Block and Peter Rojas. You also may have noticed we’ve recently started using gdgt’s Databox technology to provide GeekWire readers with detailed specs and other data for the products we write about.
