In the never-ending recycling of what’s-old-is-new-again (see speakeasies with overpriced specialty cocktails; vintage-looking eyewear; Fiona Apple), the latest example is Stanley — a player piano that takes song requests via Twitter.

Stanley is appearing at the Capitol Hill Block Party this weekend, according to Seattle Magazine, so go ahead and start making your playlists to try and stump him. Just tweet your requests to @StanleyPiano. According to his masters and creators at Digital Kitchen, he’s also learned a song by each of the Block Party’s participating bands. Fans can follow Stanley’s playlists at stanleypiano.com.

One question remains: Will Stanley be able to kick out the jams after he’s been doused in PBR vomit?
