Social media analytics startup Simply Measured has struck a partnership with Klout to add data about social-media influence to the reports used by Simply Measured’s customers. The partnership was announced this morning.

“This Klout/Simply Measured partnership helps brands leverage Klout’s data in context with other social media metrics and understand how influencers impact social media programs,” says Simply Measured CEO Adam Schoenfeld in a message.

Simply Measured is making the Klout data available to its customers at no extra charge, and offering a free Klout Audience Analysis tool to provide a sense for how the Excel-based reports work.

The reporting tools are designed, for example, to give companies the ability to find their most influential Twitter followers, and measure how those people affect the conversation about brand, products or other aspects of the company.
