Can the GeekWire guys avoid getting “Smoked by Windows Phone”?

That’s the question this week as we welcome Ben Rudolph from Microsoft’s Windows Phone team to the studio to reprise the speed tests he started staging at the Consumer Electronics Show. We put our iPhones to the test vs. Windows Phone to see which is faster at taking pictures and uploading them to social networks.

Ben joins us starting at the 12:40 mark in the show below. That’s preceded by our weekly news roundup, in which we discuss topics including Apple’s new Mountain Lion operating system, Amazon’s plans to build three new office towers, the tech connections in Seattle’s renewed quest to land an NBA team, plus the PS Vita launch and the latest privacy dustups to roil the tech industry.

Also listen for our App of the Week and a new Name that Tech Tune challenge, with a chance to win an HTC Titan courtesy of Ben.
