We wrote about EveryMove launching its exercise reward system last week and the TechStars Seattle grad is already furthering its reach into the fitness world with a new partnership with Precor, a leading fitness equipment manufacturer based in Woodinville.

The 32-year-old company founded in Seattle has a networked fitness solution based in the cloud called Preva. People will have the ability to connect their Preva account to EveryMove, much like other applications on EveryMove today. Users will also be able to connect and/or activate to an EveryMove account while using a Precor fitness machine.

The end result is another easy way for consumers to record their exercise data and be rewarded through EveryMove.

“It’s a huge opportunity for EveryMove and a strong signal to the market,” says CEO Russell Benaroya. “Imagine: go to the gym and work out on your favorite machine and if you’ve connected your EveryMove account, just let that information magically appear in EveryMove and earn you points toward rewards.  It will be a killer seamless experience.”

Benaroya said that he expects to see EveryMove embedded within the Preva network by early 2013.

“This concept of networked fitness is a really big idea for them, and we are also big around the idea of lifestyle data,” he said. “It was a nice complimentary overlap around the power of lifestyle information to help people be successful around their health.”

Last May, EveryMove announced $2.6 million in financing from Premera Blue Cross, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska, BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners and host of Seattle angel investors.
