Mark Michael and his wife, Ashley, on the latest episode of House Hunters

EVO Media Group co-founder and president Mark Michael made his reality TV debut this week, appearing alongside his wife (and cat Jack) on the latest episode of HGTV’s House Hunters.

So, how did the Internet exec fare? Well, first off, he was hilarious, discussing the pros and cons of living in a downtown Seattle condo versus a Queen Anne home and where the couple’s cat, Jack, would live.

“I feel like I am in exile, where is this?” Michael said at one point as he toured a home in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood overlooking the Ballard Bridge. He later referred to his wife’s desire of a home with a yard as a case of “country mouse-city mouse.”

Obviously, Michael is a city guy, preferring a high-rise condo near his Belltown offices.

And, at the end of the day, that’s where the couple landed. They paid $404,000 for a unit in the Escala complex, decorating it in what Michael routinely referred to as their “Cape Cod-Bohemian style.”

The episode is not yet online, but we’ll update this post with a link to the video once we find it. After all, this is some fun stuff.

Asked if he had any advice for those appearing on reality TV, Michael tells us simply: “Be ready for your 15 minutes of fame.”
