We’re just a day away from GeekWire’s fall Meetup in which we’ll combine elements of The Voice (karoake) with Shark Tank (elevator pitches).

The action will get rolling Tuesday, October 23rd at The Crocodile in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood, starting with pitches from four startup entrepreneurs. (Phil Gordon, Jawfish GamesBrian MonninHapply; Rodney StearnsA Safe Way Home/Text No More; and  Kristoph Cichocki-RomanovPortals)

That portion of the evening will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

After our judges critique the business plans, it’s karaoke time from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A fundraiser for Year Up Puget Sound, attendees will be able to bid on Seattle area tech celebs to perform. Those up for bid include SEOMoz CEO Rand Fishkin; GeekWire chairman Jonathan Sposato; Google’s Dan Shapiro and yes, yours truly.  But don’t worry, most of the evening will feature our attendees belting out their favorite tunes, so don’t be shy.  Whether you sing or bid, we’ve got your drink covered.

Tickets are still available here for both portions of the Meetup, so make sure to sign up today. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Crocodile ( 2200 2nd Avenue) on Tuesday night.
