Posting from Las Vegas: OK, so this isn’t something you’re going to see in your living room anytime soon, but the Intel booth here features a pretty dramatic demonstration of the power of everyday computer processors.

Before the Consumer Electronics Show opens this morning, we got a sneak peek of the Intel booth, which is chock full of the thin and light Ultrabook notebooks that the chip maker is betting on to blunt the progress of the iPad in the portable computer market.

Overarching it all, literally, is a massive “artificial ecosystem” that CES attendees will be able to interact with from kiosks on the edge of the booth. Check it out in our video above, along with an explanation of the technology behind it.
